Armand Ruby

Armand Ruby is a writer, composer, and director of musical films. He wrote and directed his first film, a musical short entitled "I Said I Will", starring James Durbin in 2021. The film features the popular song, "I Don't Want to Walk Away", with vocals by James Durbin, arrangement by Julian Colbeck, and mix by Alan Parsons. Armand's continuing focus in 2021 is on developing a feature film adaptation of his musical stage play, "Equinox the Musical", based on his success writing and directing "Equinox" for theatre audiences in Santa Cruz, CA. Musically, "Equinox" features an exciting mix of contemporary styles by composer Armand Ruby and arranger/producer Julian Colbeck.
