Christine J. Song

Christine Song is the director, producer, and founder of Vancouver Chinese Film Festival and Vancouver International Youth Film Festival. She graduated from the Vancouver Film Academy in 2009 and has worked as a professional filmmaker ever since. In 2013, she launched the Vancouver Chinese Film Festival, which has since been supported by Canadian government on at many levels, including from the Prime Minister himself. She established herself in the Chinese Film Circle of Canada, and then launched the Vancouver International Youth Film Festival to gather young filmmakers and promote the integration of multi-cultural film.
