Pau Pons

Actress and creator at Pont Flotant (Direction and Dramaturgy). Head of Management and Administration at Pont Flotant theatre company. Combines her activities at Pont Flotant with the direction of shows for other companies and the translation and correction of the Valencian language. Holds a Degree in Dramatic Arts from the Escola Superior d'Art Dramàtic de València (School of Dramatic Arts, Valencia) and in Catalan Philology from the University of Valencia. She also holds a Masters Degree in Advanced Theatre Studies, specialising in stage direction, from the University of Rioja. As an actress, she has worked with directors as Jorge Picó, Carles Alfaro, Ximo Vidal, Joaquim Candeias and Xavi Puchades, among others. She has been director assistant for theater companies as Albena Teatre, Pluja Teatre, Arden Producciones and Combinats and she has directed plays for Germinal Producciones, EscenoArt, Hibiscus Teatre and L'Horta Teatre, among others. As a teacher she has taught Acting and Physical Training in Escuela del Actor (ESAC) in Valencia. Since 2019, she teaches stage direction in Escola Superior d'Art Dramàtic de València (School of Dramatic Arts, Valencia).
