Elisabetta Spaggiari

Biography

Elisabetta Spaggiari is an Italian actress and graphic designer living and working in France. In 2022 she toured the shows 'Les Petites Géométries' (Cie Juscomama & Théâtre Paris Villette) and '1518 L'épidémie ou Dansez Plus Fort car l'on Pourrait Bien Vous Entendre' (cie L'tabli). She has worked as an actress, assistant director and scenographer for the companies 38CIT Compagnie Internationale de Théâtre (Paris), Teatro Stabile della Sardegna (Sardegna Teatro, Cagliari), Alambic - Theatre Factory (Vosges), Les Muettes Bavardes (Paris), Gigot Bitume (Brest), Cie Naphralytep (Âne Vert, Fontainebleau). For some of these companies she also designs posters, brochures and other publicity materials. Since 2010 she has assisted Laura Pazzola in community projects that enable diverse groups of people (children, teenagers and adults) to exchange and connect through theatrical creation. Since 2013 she has led theatre workshops in schools, leisure centres, nursing homes, young offender institutes, detention facilities (Fleury Mérogis prison) and outreach centres (C.H.R.S. Emmaüs Bois l'Abbé). Since 2018 she has participated in 'À Propos de ce Qui se Passe...' an artistic project by Juliette Nier which explores the theatre of objects, graphics, video and current affairs. Since 2019 she plays the ukulele and sings in the duo Lola Mari (ukulele, guitar and voice) with Alexandre Falcone. When she is not in a creative residency or on tour, Elisabetta works on various graphic design projects including posters, cards, illustrations and bespoke artworks.
