Mahmoud Al Jabaly

Mahmoud Al Jabaly "Thaer Al Shamali" is a Syrian Filmmaker, born in 1993. He is originally from Aleppo - Al Bab City, Syria, but resides in Turkey since 2014 due to the unsafe and deteriorating situation in his home country. He aims to raise awareness about what Syria is enduring through his work. His wife (Rama Tahan) shares his work, which she studied with him at the university and worked with him a lot of films. He entered the art world through his father, who was a journalist and documentary filmmaker, who died in Syria due to the bombing.
