Kristina Ratkova

Kristina (Chris) Ratkova was born in Daugavpils, Latvia. This is where her interest in film began at the age of six, when she saw the behind the scenes for a show on TV. At the age of nine she moved permanently to London, UK, where she could pursue her ambition for film. During her early teenage years she taught herself how to edit, using various editing software. In 2017 she went off to study film, media and photography at Kingston College, whilst simultaneously attending BFI Film Academy, where she gained her first hand filmmaking experience. Later she began studying Filmmaking at London Film Academy, in 2019.
