Matt Durand

Matt Durand (born Matthew Stuart Parsons) is a performer, entertainer and writer from Northamptonshire, UK. Matt is proud to be openly gay and autistic (ASD) #ActuallyAutistic. Growing up, Matt worked with local theatres and groups around Northamptonshire including The Royal & Derngate Theatre joining the 'Young Company: Musicals' (2010-2014), he would later return here as a volunteer member of the front of house team (2018-2019). Matt graduated from The University of Chichester class of 2017, gaining a Bachelor of the Arts with Honours in Musical Theatre (Triple Threat). He went onto further training with The National Youth Film Academy, completing their two week intensive 'Set Ready' course in London, 2019. Matt is experienced in multiple disciplines including; musical theatre, Shakespearean acting, screenplay writing, screen acting and puppetry among others. Since graduating, Matt has gone onto perform in musical productions, plays, pantomimes, sight specific, television, running daytime activities and hosting evening entertainment in holiday parks/resorts across the UK and more.
