Emma Halleen

Biography

Born and raised in Stillwater Minnesota, Emma is no stranger to the cold, goats and losing sports teams. Emma grew up English/American and has a dual citizenship with the UK and USA. Upon her move to Los Angeles, Emma booked the lead role in CalArts and Onerva Pictures, Inka Rusi's senior thesis project, Bind. Once completed the short was successfully shown at Florida Film Festival, CAA Moebius, Helsinki Film Festival and Tacoma Film Festival. Emma starred opposite AzMarie Livingston (Empire) and LisaRaye McCoy (Single Ladies) in Yolanda Buggs, In The Gray earning her SAG membership. She's worked with multiple AFI students including Nitzan Levinson, Genevieve Kertesz and Julia Ponce Diaz. She began producing her own projects in the wake of the pandemic in 2021 after being inspired by actor/producer moguls like Reece Witherspoon and Margot Robbie. She founded a production company, The Millionth, and successfully produced her first SAG sanctioned project.
