Jwan Abdo

Jwan Abdo was born in 1996 in Aleppo. After the war in Syria, Jwan came to Istanbul. He started working in filmmaking. He worked in many short films and in the documentary film "The boy with camera" that talked about his life. The film was shown in many festivals and he received several awards of them. In 2017 he came through asylum to Germany and continued making films. And he directed the "parallel" film in Berlin 2020
