Robert Mayman

Soviet film director and screen writer. Robert Mayman graduated from the Higher Institute of Photography and Phototechnics in Leningrad (now the St. Petersburg State Institute of Cinema and Television). Since 1925 he worked at the studio of Leningradkino (Lensovkino), in 1936-1976. - Director of the Lennauchfilm studio. In total, Mayman directed over sixty films. Robert Aleksandrovich Mayman was buried in Leningrad at the Jewish cemetery.
