Edwin Keet was born in Ulft (NL), but raised in Staphorst (NL). Edwin was an avid follower of fitness gurus like Jane Fonda, Richard Simmons and Ron Brandsteder in his younger years. He tried various sports until he found out Jane Fonda practiced ballet dancing to keep fit. He then switched to ballet dancing and was quite successful at it. Unfortunately, an accident happened while doing an exercise at a bar. This ended his aspirations to be a ballet dancer. Soon after this injury he started doing fitness to stay fit. He developed a physique like Jean Claude van Damme, thus earning him the nickname "the muscles from Staphorst" Although he was successful in fitness his passion for choreography and dance were still there so he enlisted for the Penney de Jager school for showballet. Despite still being injured he graduated top of his class.
After graduating he tried to become a professional dancer. The combination of a being light footed dancer and his physical appearance caught the eye of tv and movie producers. He started off with rolls in Costa and as a co-host on Lucky Letters. Unfortunately, the market for dancing bodybuilders wasn't big enough to keep him working in showbiz. He now is one of the anchormen of the online fitness channel Fitsnacks.
