Julia Schmidt

Julia Schmidt is a graduating Film and Media Studies & Communication double major from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has worked at the UCSB Pollock Theater for the past three years and has acquired extensive production credits. She has gained experience directing, writing, producing, and on camera during her time with Script to Screen. In addition to her most memorable events - I, Tonya with screenwriter Steven Rogers, Get Out with director/writer/producer Jordan Peele, and Avengers: Endgame with screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely - Julia has greatly enjoyed all of the On the Red Carpet interviews. Julia has worked on a handful of other student film productions and intends to continue working in the entertainment industry post graduation.
