Angela Fedrick-Lewis

Angela Fedrick-Lewis, who goes by the stage name "Angela Monique "(First and Middle Name), is an author, songwriter, producer, and vocalist who founded Mojo Media Online, LLC (publishing company) as an avenue for self-published works to garner broader audiences and an outlet for her music and ministry work to be distributed. Her company has evolved into a multi-faceted media company, that serves to promote spiritual, physical wellness and professional and personal growth through various media streams. In 2001, Angela Monique ministered as a member of the Atlanta-based Gospel quartet "Majestic," who made appearances on the "Bobby Hurd Gospel Showcase," "True Love Waits Youth Conference Tour," The world-famous "Roxy Theater" in Atlanta and many other local and national showcases. In later years, the native Atlantan earned her B.A. in Journalism from Clark Atlanta University and began a career as a writer and educator shortly after; however, her heart for music always remained at the core, having penned nearly two full albums by the age of 25. With gospel roots stemming from her Baptist church upbringing and surviving two open-heart surgeries as a child, Angela Monique has written about her transition from religion to a relationship with Christ in her book, "Moving Mountains: How I Learned To Love God's Way," published in 2013. She also appeared on the live television show, "Atlanta Live," on Atlanta, Georgia TV channel 57, where she discusses her book and life. Soon after the release of her book, the southern belle relocated to Brooklyn, New York and began working with Musician, Music producer and Legendary reggae artist Ed Robinson (Best known for the hit single "Knocking on Heavens Door") to complete her first album release, "Voice of Victory." While simultaneously completing her M.A. in Urban Education at Long Island University, the artist continued to work on her album and received mentorship from both Robinson and members from the Gospel community, including Song-writer and Minister Kesha Trippett. Angela Monique explains the unexpected collaboration as a "blessing." "I don't ever want to box myself into a stereotype or mold when it comes to Gospel music. I just want it to be true, authentic, from the heart and where God's Spirit leads me with the words and instrumentation," says the eclectic artist. Angela Monique also collaborates with musician and music producer, David Dixon of Dax Maestro Productions and Atlanta producer Emanuel "Emaestro" Furaodd on her first album release. Dixon, known as "the one-man band" has had the humbling experience of jamming with Stevie Wonder on piano and Furaodd has produced work for Perri "Pebbles" Reid on her latest gospel albums. Angela Monique describes her new music project as a "second birth," with her book being the first. Her album is a mixture of traditional and contemporary gospel sounds with a message centered on the revelation of who we are in Christ and who Christ is to us. With lyrics that are both testimonial and proclamations of the Gospel, Lewis releases a riveting and rhythmic montage of inspiration from beginning to end. With an appeal rooted in truth, "Voice of Victory" transcends genres and musical audiences world-wide.
