Nadia Shimunova

Nadia Shimunova was born in New York City, to Anna Lesniak, an occupational therapist, and Rafael Shimunov, an activist and creative director for grassroots organizations. She lives in Flushing, Queens and studies Taekwondo as a black belt. In her first film, Mister Sister, she played the role of Julie, its youngest cast member and the creative daughter of one of its leads, Marie, played by Debra Haden.
