Matthew Holland

Matthew Holland is a British-American writer-director, producer, and actor, known for the short films Batman: The Dark World (2009), its sequel Batman: Rise of the Joker (2010), the award-winning film Jaguars Ring (2012), Break the Simulation (2019), and Red Apple Chewing Gum (2020). He made his feature film debut with an uncredited role in Joker (2019) and will next appear as a leading actor in the British drama film In the Still of the Summer (2022). Matthew has stated his three biggest sources of inspiration for filmmaking are Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, and Christopher Nolan.
