Suman Sen

Suman is a Writer, Director, and Producer living in India. He has studied Business, Design & Communication, and is an advertising professional who worked for more than a decade with various agencies and brands. He has been directing and producing commercials and digital content for brands. His debut short film 'The Silent Echo' set in Mustang, Nepal, had its European premiere in the prestigious Raindance Film Festival and won 'Best Short of the Festival' which makes it on the Oscar longlist for 2023, it has been officially selected in Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, Hollyshorts Film Festival, Regard Festival International Du court metrage au Saguenay, Tampere Film Festival, New York International Children's Film Festival, New York Indian Film Festival to name a few. He is working on his second short 'Cry me a river' based in Taiwan, which has received prestigious production grant support from the Taichung City Government. His debut feature film 'Eka (Solo)' was part of NFDC Film Bazaar Co-Production Market 2019 and Torino Film Lab Next 2020 and La Fabrique cinéma de l'Institut francais 2021 is going on floor in 2023.
