In the year of 1993 he entered in the world of film. Like everyone else, he goes on his way through many ups and downs. In the early periods, many years were spent to know the Cinematography. He rushed to different schools, libraries and cameramen to find out the details of Cinematography. The name of the cinematographer Soumendu Roy is particularly significant in this regard. At the same time, he understands that in order to direct a film, such as directing, cinematography and editing needs to be well known. According to that thinking, he also minded in the work of editing. He does a lot of work (Fiction & Non-fiction both) as an Assistant Editor. He worked as an assistant editor with Bodhaditya Banerjee in various Mega Serials. In the meantime, he wrote scripts on various stories. He directed and conducted several short films. Now he directed feature films : "Superstar", "Darpan".
