Jalen Blot

Jalen Blot is a Los Angeles based filmmaker and Temple University alum. His short film, Colors of Sankofa was an official selection of the 2019 Pan African Film Festival and semi-finalist in the AT&T Shape Competition. Blot's films are rooted in the intersections of race and gender derived from his background in organizational behavior. Blot has directed a plethora of work ranging from music videos to digital content for major brands. His goals in filmmaking, simply put, are to hold up mirrors to underrepresented voices and amplify them.
