Over the past year and a half he's tracked gorillas in the Democratic Republic of Congo, charmed his way into Libya and partied hard in Russia. His journey began on May 27, 2018 and was completed just a few days ago. "Two thousand people were waiting for me when I arrived at the airport," he tells Telegraph Travel. "It felt like the end of the World Cup."
