Katie Penn

Katie Penn is an English actress born in Kent, England. From the age of 4, she trained with Prima Stage School of Performing Arts for 15 years in dance and drama. Knowing she wanted to pursue in the TV & Film industry, at 17, she joined the National Youth Film Academy, completing the Set Ready course (Formally 'Breakthrough' at the time) in Easter 2017. She then continued her training for 3 years at the University of Chichester Conservatoire, studying BA(Hons) Acting for Film, graduating in 2021. Meanwhile, she was involved in various short films, including landing a leading role in Manhunt (2020), directed by Charles Solly through the NYFA's Summer Shorts program. In 2021, she earned a place on the NYFA's 2021 'Rise Up' program; Where only 16 actors were selected through a competitive audition, working with director Daisy Ashby-Hawkins in The Daily Lyre (2021). From 2019, Katie can be seen in the Cineworld Cinema's commercial advertisements.
