Sister Agatha Collopy was the first headmistress of St. Peter Chanel school when it opened in September 1976. The school was built by the Marist Fathers of St. Lawrence's Sidcup. Sister Agatha is a member of the Sisters of Mercy and remained headmistress through the 1980s. She is well remembered by the pupils she taught.
