Biography

Barnaby Fox is a documentary and educational film Producer and Director born in the south west of England. Starting his film career in his mid 20's alongside a successful career as a learning and educational professional he is known for his ability to cut to the core of the narrative and make the complex simple. Barnaby attended the University of Surrey, England where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition. While working in learning and education he founded Zanda Films, a production and distribution company. Barnaby's first production was Transcontinental: Race to Istanbul, made with the late record breaking ultra distance cyclist Mike Hall. The film documented the annual Transcontinental bicycle race across Europe from the perspective of the riders and crew. While establishing himself as a commercial and educational content producer, in 2019 Barnaby released Our Club, his second feature length documentary produced by Zanda Films in association with Dorney Productions and FC Media. Narrated by football commentator Ian Darke, Our Club tells the tale of how Portsmouth Football Club became Britain's largest community owned club after it fell on hard times. Our Club premiered in May 2019 at the No 6 Cinema in Portsmouth and went on a sellout cinema run around the UK. Barnaby currently resides in Melbourne, Australia after moving from South London, England in 2016.
