Scott Cameron Pedigo

Scott Cameron Pedigo was born in Miami, Florida, June 28, 1955, to Shirley Mae Pedigo and Joe Martin Pedigo. He grew up in the Redlands, north of Homestead, graduating from South Dade High Senior School in 1973. He graduated from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering. After graduation he worked for Commonwealth Edison of Chicago, first as a staff engineer at the Dresden Nuclear Station, in Morris, Illinois, then out of the main office in Chicago as a software developer. While working in Chicago he attended evening classes at the University of Illinois Circle Campus to learn German. He took part in a University of Illinois student exchange program at the Pädagogische Akademie des Niederösterreichs (a teacher's college), in Baden, Austria, west of Vienna. He resumed his career as a software developer, in Zofingen, Switzerland, later moving to Zürich, where he lives today. A lifelong cinema fan, in 2019, he jumped at the chance to support the production of Mad Heidi, billed as the first Swissploitation film.
