Biography

Auxile Rutingingwa is a former Rayon Sports player who was Baptista's housemate in 1994. As a high-profile Tutsi footballer, Auxile was a target for the Interahamwe militia and during the Genocide Against the Tutsi he remained in Kigali, in hiding. Auxile moved to Belgium and played for local side RCS Brainois, and now lives in Charleroi, Belgium, where he and his wife are pastors at a local church. His son, Arsène, is a talented midfielder.
