Yanelisa is an actress and singer-songwriter born in Venezuela from Colombian parents. In 2018 Billboard.com published an article titled Venezuela's Summer Video Playlist: 10 Local Stars on the Rise where Yanelisa had a spot with her song ''Distinto'' along Its Music Video. In 2020 during the pandemic, the short film ''Housegirl'' was filmed in Atlanta and Yanelisa played the lead role Belen Martinez.
