Lorena Matus is an American/Mexican, fully bilingual, professional actress based in New York City, born and raised in Mexico City. Better known for When I Was There (2019), Lost Love (2019), Sana Sana (2019), Oblivion (2019), as well as off-off-Broadway productions. Her acting career backs to her childhood, time during which Lorena performed in theatre productions & danced jazz for over 10 years. She holds a B.S in Communication from Universidad Anáhuac Mexico, and though life guided her through a path in marketing & parenting, her lifetime dream of becoming a professional actor was always alive; in 2017 she switched careers to chase her dream, becoming a professional actor. She has trained at Stella Adler Studio of Acting NYC, The Barrow Group, The Markland Studio... Lorena loves spending time with her husband and 3 children, two of them share her passion for acting. Lorena loves writing, filming mini-documentaries with her youngest son, and she is also an amateur photographer mostly interested in nature, landscapes & architecture.
