Melody Ruiz

Melody is a Producer and Director with a breadth of experience across the creative industries, having worked and trained in television, theatre, dance, music and live events. She has been developing and producing high-profile television content for just over a decade. Her credits include the first series of The Real Marigold Hotel (2015), the pilot of The Secret Life of 4 Year Olds (2014) and four Stacey Dooley films (2013 & 2015-16). She has developed and produced for the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV, Discovery TLC and National Geographic. Melody's background is in dance, musical theatre and radio, and she spent some of the early days of her career helping to run BBC Learning's live events and floor managing in studio. Melody was recently announced as one of Edinburgh TV Festival's Ones to Watch 2020.
