Kikka Oiwa

Born and raised in Ishikawa prefecture, Japan, Kikka Oiwa is an actress, writer, and producer. Inspired by "Kiku's Prayer" by Shusaku Endo (known for "Silence," "The Sea and Poison," etc.), she started her acting career in her 30's. Besides acting, by utilizing her linguistic ability, she has translated many films of her friends' directors, and some of them got the awards in several film festivals outside Japan.
