Marc Abramson

The passion for acting was a seed planted in Marc Abramson at a young age in Chicago, Illinois. After listening to records of and hearing stories about his father's Vaudeville days, he knew performing would be in his future. He began to really pursue acting in the mid-2000s after selling his profitable wire and cable business. Initially, wanted to do stand-up comedy, but then, Marc found The Second City and the art of Improv comedy. At The Second City, he took classes to the advanced level from 2007-2009, before moving to Houston in 2010 to be closer to family. During his time in Texas, he has participated actively in community theatre from the comedic to the dramatic. His prominent roles include "Dr. Boyle" in Prelude to a Kiss at The Company OnStage, "Santa" on the Polar Express in Galveston, "Mr. Bucket" in Frosty the Snowman also at The Company OnStage, and several commercial roles. As a former harness racer, triathlete and 2-time business owner, Marc knows the value of hard work and is constantly working on his craft by taking weekly acting classes.
