Laurence Carroll Brahm is a Film Director and Producer. He is most well known for his comedy short films and his music videos working with Hip-Hop group, Unfazed.
Laurence was born and raised in Beijing China, to a Chinese mother and an American Father. He is the eldest son of well known author, economist, lawyer and documentary filmmaker, Laurence Brahm. Laurence started off his endeavor in film at a young age following his father across the Himalayas on documentary expeditions. Slowly Laurence developed a major interest in filmmaking. Starting off by shooting dance videos, Laurence gained notoriety through the Instagram re-posts of music artists like Desiigner and August Alsina. During this time Laurence also branched out into the world of fashion where he was featured walking on runways for Vogue China.
With all that was happening, it had not been till Laurence started making music videos for China based, international rap group, Unfazed, that his career as a Director started to take off. He is most well known for directing the music videos for their hit singles, "Runner Up" and "Ballin Out". He would go on to direct and produce all music videos for the group as well as become an executive music producer for the label, Unfazed Records.
Laurence made his short film debut with the self written comedy drama piece "Story of the Coins" which won multiple film festivals in Los Angeles, and New York. Laurence would continue directing other short films, and music videos before establishing his own production studio Get Lost Productions . Laurence has also acted in a number of Chinese TV game shows and Sitcoms as well as working as an editor and cinematographer for other films, including the international award winning documentary film, "Searching for the Lotus-Born Master" as well as "Return for the Lotus-Born Master".
