Early life and education Carl De Villa was born in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines on 15 March 1982. He has two brothers and one sister and was raised in Mactan, Cebu, Philippines. Carl went to Saint Alphonsus Catholic School for primary education, University of Cebu for secondary and graduated in University of San Carlos with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
Television Carl De Villa appeared on The Voice (Australian season 8) in 2019. Unfortunately, he didn't go through the next round but he brought his unique energy to the hit by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars.
Carl was also one of the "100 judges" for All Together Now Australia, an Australian reality TV singing competition on the Seven network.

Band In Heat (2006 - 2012) - a cover band in Manila, Philippines that performs in clubs and events.
Serendipity (2002 - 2004) - Carl was a lead singer for a band in Cebu, Philippines that does covers and originals.
Redlites (1999 - 2002) - first ever cover band focused on alternative rock.
