Callum Wilkins

Born, raised and based in the North West of England, Callum Wilkins is a director, screenwriter and producer. His films focus on themes of existentialism, loneliness, fate, legacy and the cyclical nature of life. After a successful early career in digital marketing, at 20 years old, Callum studied Film Production at the University of Central Lancashire. Pursuing his dream of becoming a film editor. Throughout his studies, he found an unconscious passion for directing and writing. In his second year, he was given the opportunity to write and direct a feature film, The Hanged, at the age of 22. He was the first in his family to attend university and graduated with first-class honours, despite the last two years of his course being affected by COVID-19. Callum founded Colossal Productions, an independent production company, with his close friend and partner, Matthew Reese. The two continue their long-time collaboration and continue to work with other filmmakers such as Elliot Lush, Alexandra Wills, Bradley Yorke, Maria Oprea, Ben Fairhurst and Elliot Lainé.
