Biography

A native of Washington, D.C., Scott Leslie is now based in Vero Beach, Florida. A self-taught guitarist/songwriter with three albums out, his influences range from the amazing music of the 60's and 70's to the great rock bands of today. In the late 60's/early 70's Scott had the good fortune to be a part-time roadie working the DC area, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York for a number of bands. They included; The Jeff Beck Group, Ten Years After, The Doors, The Who, Savoy Brown, ELP and many others. So he had some interesting influences. The sound and feel of his music is clearly a classic rock vibe. An instrumental titles "Grip Fast" from Scotts second album, "Back In The Day" is featured in the new film documentary "Blood, Frets & Tears" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9797920/) by Velocity Films. Right now this film is available for streaming on iTunes, Amazon Prime, Google Play, Vudu and more. In Vero Beach, Scott has worked with some very talented collaborators including the truly amazing guitarist Dave Scott (www.musicbydavescott.com) who provides lead guitar as well as a lot of the vocals and all the recording engineering of Scott's songs. Along with Dave and his amazing lead guitar playing, he has worked with a number of other collaborators who are providing bass, drums, slide guitar, harmonica and vocals.
