José Antonio Martinez Lizardo

Jose Antonio Martinez-Lizardo was born on April 19, 1999, in the Dominican Republic. He lived in a little town in the south of the Dominican Republic called Azua until he was 18 years old. As of february 2020, he lives in Santo Domingo, the capital of the country, and he is a film student in Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (Intec). He has worked in different fiction short films and documentary. So far, he has been able to perform as a director, writers, photographer, and editor in diverse academic and personal projects. His favorite living director is Martin Scorsese; he also likes a lot the films of Orson Welles and Andrei Tarkovski. He enjoys watching black and white films and taking landscapes photography.
