Biography

Justice Constantine was raised in Huntington Beach, California. His father taught him the piano at age 4. He soon quit piano to play the drum set, which his older brother Honorius taught him to play. His older sister, the actress Marie Matiko, gave him his first professional gig at age 10 with a group that was an off-shoot of the performing arts ensemble "The Young Americans". At age 12, Justice Constantine formed the Christian band "Bloodshed" in which he served the role as drummer and lyricist. Three years later, the band released their first recordings on Tooth and Nail Records. Justice Constantine studied music at Mira Costa College in Oceanside, California. From there, he transferred to California State University of Northridge to get his Bachelor's Degree in Music, with an emphasis on Classical and Film Music Composition. After leaving Los Angeles, California to El Paso, Texas, he pursued a Master's in Music Education from the University of Texas in El Paso. While living in El Paso, Texas, he formed the an instrumental drums and piano duo "Night of the Wrecking Ball". They created the soundtrack for the spoken word poet Bradley Hathaway's book "All The Hits So Far But Don't Expect Too Much". While in El Paso, Texas, Justice Constantine became a high school and middle school band director. In 2009, Justice Constantine moved back to California.
