Amelia Rose Eloisa Zimmatore was born on October 17, 1990 in West Sussex, England. Her father is from Watford, Hertfordshire and her mother is from Wanganui New Zealand. She is the youngest sibling to five older brothers. The Zimmatore family originates from Palermo, Sicily. Heritage links also to Malta, Poland and Spain. She has been a stage performer since a young age, first in local concerts for youth orchestras as a violinist and at The Royal Albert Hall when she was eight, on RTE Radio in Ireland when she was fourteen. She returned to UK at nineteen after living in the States and took up acting again, first performing Nora in A Doll's House at Haywards Heath, followed by Brooke Ashton in Noises Off directed by Steve Fisher, JC-333 in Comic Potential at The Hawth, Abigail Williams in The Crucible directed by Helen Thorpe at Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells, and Bobbie in The Railway Children at Caterham, 2019. Film work includes Jo in The Seething pilot directed by Andy Smith, 2018 and the Moriarty web series, 2019.
