A screenwriter, director, playwright, T'ana Phelice produced her first stage play, Diamonds In The Waiting Room, in 2017. She followed up with Pass The Cornbread (2018), a second play, and short films that feature Black Female leads.
In 2020, she won first place in the Artist of Promise Competition for her third stage play, The Only Tired I Am, a piece inspired by the words of Rosa Parks--sparked by travesties such as the murder of Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Sandra Bland, and Breonna Taylor, to name a few.
