An Shu

An Shu is a cinematographer based in LA, originally from Chengdu, China. A backpacker at an early age, her travels around Europe are where she discovered her passion for cross-cultural communication through film. She graduated from Communication University of China and completed her master's degree at USC School of Cinematic Arts. She had 4 years of experience working as a journalist/writer-director in Phoenix TV - a valuable experience that broadened her understanding of the world and the people living in it. She believes cinematography is like writing with images, and it's the best way to carry out feelings.
