James W. LaVeck

James W. LaVeck spent over 20 years working in, and consulting to, the financial services industry. A native Southern Californian, he moved to North Central Massachusetts with his late husband and two children following the passage of Proposition 8. He is a producer, actor and author of Life After Losses: A Memoir or Love, Loss and Life. He's also written Moving Past Grief: A Collection of Stories and Strategies to Help You Heal. During the height of the pandemic, he resumed an old dream of acting and has been cast in a number of short films premiering in spring of 2022.
