Grant Osum

Grant Osum was born in 1999 in Minneapolis, MN, and moved to Waukesha, WI at 6 weeks old. He began pursuing filmmaking towards late high school and is currently a senior at Columbia College Chicago studying Cinema Arts & Science with a focus on producing and documentary. Since his time at Columbia, he has primarily focused on creating narrative-driven short films and is stepping into documentary filmmaking with Minnesota Tiger Man. Grant is the Director, Producer, and Cinematographer of the documentary. The film centers around his Uncle, Grant Oly who has provided a vast variety of photos, news articles, and other media for his nephew to tell his story.
