Emeer Hasanpoor

Emeer Hasanpoor is a filmmaking student at Columbia College Chicago. He worked on several projects as an actor, director, and co-producer, including The Eunuch (2017), Pelicans (2010), and Hejar (2019). He also occasionally provides cinematic reviews and analyses for magazines like Prisma and Flux Magazine. He is the chief editor of Cine Bizarre Magazine. Emeer was the president of the Experimental Film Society in Chicago. He is most influenced by French and German New Wave cinema and most of his ideas relate to experimental and independent filmmaking. Emeer is currently working as an experimental editor and filmmaker at Munzur Film Productions.
