Julian Dykmans

Julian is a writer, director and producer based in Berlin, Germany. He launched in 2020 his own studio with partner Lou Andrea Savoir. He was born in Belgium in 1976 from a Belgian Dad and a Scottish Mom. His teens were spent skateboarding in the early nineties when it was completely underground. During the end of the nineties in Brussels, he was the lead singer of a punk-rock ska band called Looking Up, they were signed by Epitaph and toured Europe extensively. From 2000, Julian moved to Barcelona and became a professional skateboarder. He created his own skateboard company Antiz Skateboards that still exists today. Julian was a pro skater for 10 years. Julian also worked as a producer for brands such as Carhartt, Converse, Vans and RVCA during the following years. He also was an actor for several years across Europe doing plays, shorts and TV commercials. In 2015, he started Blam Studio in Berlin where they created and produced commercials and documentaries but also events, photo shoots. Cascade produces / direct commercials and films. They created commercials for Nike, Hermès, Leica, Skateistan, Puma, Decathlon, Adidas, Specialized and many more. www.cascade.berlin Julian also writes and creates Television series and feature film content.
