Born and raised 25 miles from Manhattan in Elmont, NY on Long Island, Many days were spent at the nearby local volunteer firehouse with his Army Vet Dad Serge Sr., (WW2 Combat Veteran) Grand-Uncle Jean and many other WW2, Korea and Vietnam Vets, men who built and stood up the Fire Department. Having been surrounded and influenced by these leaders at such a young age led Serge on a path into the "Famed New York City Fire Department- "The Bravest" (FDNY). Serge spent his first ten years in FDNY in the 80's & 90s on the West-side of Manhattan where he saw a ton of action. When not fighting fires, he was exposed to many film productions; some as part of the location safety teams, others as advisor and some as a background extra. After Serving over 25 years in the Fire Service in NY, Serge retired and he & his family relocated to the Southeast where Serge has "rekindled" his love for film/acting. He is grateful to the local Aiken SC/Augusta GA Actors Circle Group for their sage advice, professionalism, passion and support and hopes to increase his contributions to the group for many years to come.
