Biography

Brooke Bierhaus is an American award-winning documentary filmmaker and visual storyteller. Brooke is known for her feature film, "The Connected Cup", following the heart of coffee and tea around the world as a global language of connection. Brooke has worked and produced stories in 22 countries. Personal Bio: Born in Vincennes, Indiana on December 28, 1992 to Julia and Brent Bierhaus. USATF Junior Olympics 2007 National Champion in the 2000 meter steeplechase. University of Iowa Track & Field athlete 2011-2013. Graduated University of Iowa 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Journalism. Attended New York Film Academy in 2015 for Acting for Film and Improv. Photography instructor in Reykjavik, Iceland and a wildlife photographer and journalist for wildlife research in the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. Director of "Boda Boda", a short documentary showcasing the relationship between poaching and the local community of the Serengeti in Tanzania. Creator of the award-winning short, "The World In A Cup", premiering at the Los Angeles Coffee Festival 2018. Creator and Director of the feature-length documentary, "The Connected Cup."
