David Ellis

David Ellis is an American actor know for his role in the movie "Chance". David can also be seen appearing in many American Country Music videos. From humble beginnings, Ellis grew up on a small farm in rural southern Ohio. He grew up loving country music. His grandfather introduced him to country music at a very young age. Growing up, David fell in love with music. Throughout his years of growing up, Ellis made many connections in the country music industry. He's been fortunate enough to have gained friendships and to have shared the stage with many big names. Unfortunately, as his love for county music continued to grow, he sustained a life-changing crash. In June 2016 he nearly lost his life in a horrible Jet-ski crash. David suffered serious injuries in result of the accident. Reconstruction surgery took a tole on him . The road to recovery was long and rough, the possibility of making it big in Nashville had ended. In addition to changes in his voice from the accident, he lost the man who introduced him to country music, his grandfather. He had passed away earlier in the year. After nearly losing his life in the crash, Ellis came back swinging. He stayed disciplined and persistent in reaching his goals. Ellis set sail to complete new territory. David attended school at the University of Cincinnati where he studied Criminal Justice with an average 4.0 GPA. After College, Ellis became a State Trooper. He had become the youngest state trooper in the history of the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 20 years old. He received top-driver honors in the state. Ellis is well known for his social media, having a large follower fan base on Instagram. Speaking to many residents from Ellis's home town, they all had one thing in common to say about him, "His huge heart and even bigger smile." "It's amazing how down to earth and genuine he is, he's never forgotten us little people. No matter what, he always leaves you with a smile on your face and your heart throbbing. " When we asked Ellis what its like being a State Trooper, he responded "Its the greatest thing to have ever happened to me, a dream come true. Not many people can actually say that they get to live their dreams. Here I am at 21 years old getting to make a difference each and every day. Save lives, protect people, arrest bad guys. The man above has blessed me, I'm so blessed. " We asked Ellis about being part of the movie "Chance." Ellis stated " Its an incredible honor, especially because I grew up with Chance in real life. When the Daily's had asked me to be a part of it, I was nearly in tears. I'm so thankful to be part of this. This movie and the message it provides could possibly save many lives."
