Biography

Banta is an alternative Jazz band formed in late 2013 and signed at EOne Records and CD Baby Entertainment. They initially started in southern California's Los Angeles County, and based their debut Album "Dark Charm" on the legend of a a California Gold strike a minor took over. The band consist of They had been shelved for two years recording in the studio before releasing their Lead Single Sharaya Mikael (vocals/guitar), Kristin Hardin (vocals), Jon Marcu (drums), Scott Clear (lead guitar), Steve Oh Grohne (bass) and Alathea Reece (keys & Vocals). With "Dark Charm" as their debut feature, their next more successful single to follow was their hit "Someday" which debut on the ABC Family hit show Pretty Littl Liars. To follow by two more singles, "Hungry Heart" and "Three Feet From Gold", the band took a hiatus after reaching their first studio album which was eligible for RIA Gold. The band has yet for more success after premiering on local New Stations.
