Sh'Kia Augustin

Sh'Kia Augustin is an American actress, singer, writer, and producer born to an African American mother and Jamaican father. She was born and raised in small town Oakland, Florida where she regularly performed in church from a young age. She graduated from Florida Atlantic University where she studied music and business. After graduating, she began performing in community theaters and local film productions in addition to writing, producing, and starring in her own films. She is best known for her recurring role as the voice of Shonda on CW's Black Lightning.
