Kiana is known for her leading role as Sam/Samara, a quirky high school girl with a secret other-worldly side, in "Dark Chasm". In the short comedy, "The Student & the Master", she was featured in the lead role of Espinoza, a young, naive detective out to solve a mystery at a local school. Kiana portrayed the lead role of Emily in a romantic short about love at first sight called "At a Passing Glance". In the short film, "The Chase", Kiana held the lead role of Isabella, who falls for a young man all because of a lost book. Kiana grew up in Hawai'i beginning her career at the age of 5, modeling and appearing in local TV commercials. Her love of the craft of acting for film and television brought her to train with acting coaches from Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Vancouver and Hawai'i - specializing in On-Camera Acting for Film & Television, Scene Study, Voice Over and Improvisation. Kiana loves animals, riding horses, traveling, writing and the art of film. Kiana's interest in the art of filmmaking which lead her to study with Award Winning Director, Ryan Darst ("Dark Chasm", "Wildlife", "Dreamworld"). Kiana enjoys collaborating with other actors/writers/filmmakers to create meaningful and relevant stories.
