Biography

Lt. Col. Pat Patterson is a 20-year, U.S. Army, retired veteran, who also has a 15 year background in banking and is now the owner of PatCo construction. Pat Patterson is developing a model Veterans' Housing Project, providing a viable solution to veteran homelessness, in Temple, TX. This is in coordination with Habitat for Humanity, which requires people getting homes through the organization to devote about 300 hours to sweat equity, working on their home or other Habitat homes and projects. The Crossley Veterans Community has 13 duplexes. Veterans can purchase half of each duplex at a cost of $450 a month, which includes $100 for homeowners' association fee that pays for lawn care and up keep of the community. One side of the duplex has 650 square feet and one bedroom. Each home is fully furnished with appliances. Pat is actively involved in the First Methodist Church of Temple.
