Melissa Raye

Melissa Raye is an NYC based R&B/Soul recording artist, singer and performer. With a background in Opera, Pop, R&B, Funk and even a little touch of Country, Melissa can perform a number of different music genres. Melissa was personally selected by and performed with Jennifer Hudson on NBC's "The Today Show" for the spotlight performance and interviewed by Kathie Lee and Hoda. Some of the stages of major music venue's Melissa has performed on has been Radio City Music Hall, Carnegie Hall, Citi Corp, and Met Life Buildings, Rockefeller Center, The Cutting Room, Historic Bitter End, Mulcahy's Concert Hall in Long Island and many others. She grew up in Queens, NY and is a graduate of Frank Sinatra School of the Arts. She recently works with pop/rock cover band "The Escape" and the original band "Cousin Earth".
